WHAT WE DO

Legacy Forward offers bespoke family archiving services designed to help individuals and families preserve, organize, and pass down their personal history with care.

Every engagement is custom-designed around the materials and priorities of the family. We assess what you have, clarify what matters most, and guide the creation of an archive that can be accessed, shared, and stewarded across generations.

OUR SERVICES

Our services are designed for individuals and families who want to thoughtfully preserve their history, whether they are stewarding a lifetime of materials, capturing stories across generations, or preparing a legacy to be shared and passed down. HOW IT WORKS

Every engagement begins with a conversation and unfolds at a pace that respects both the material and the people behind it. Legacy Forward guides you through each step of the process from initial assessment to a finished archive, so the work feels manageable, thoughtful, and complete.

Step 1. Consultation and assessment

We begin with a consultation to understand your family’s history, the materials you have, and what matters most to you. Together, we assess scope, priorities, and goals.

Step 2. Archival Planning & Curation

Based on your needs, we develop a client-specific archival plan. Materials are reviewed, organized, and preserved using professional archival standards, with care taken at every stage.

Step 3. Creation & Delivery

The work culminates in a completed archive—physical, digital, or both. Whether delivered as a collection, recorded histories, or a finished book, the final product is designed to be accessible, enduring, and ready to be shared across generations.

We digitized and preserved over thirty years of family correspondence, transforming a fragile heirloom into a lasting record of connection and memory. The finished book allows these letters to be shared, revisited, and treasured by the entire family.
